C-53 Update
Following comments from Minister Anandasangaree that Bill C-53 is unlikely to “continue in its current form,” President Sandmaier met with the Minister, who reaffirmed Canada’s commitment to working with our government to advance self-determination and self-government.

With profound sadness and gratitude, we honour the life and legacy of Muriel Stanley Venne, a Métis Matriarch, lifelong advocate, and a guiding force in the fight for justice and equality. Her passing is a tremendous loss to the Métis Nation and all who were inspired by her.
