Children & Family Services
Our department provides culturally appropriate opportunities for Métis families to maintain and enhance connections with community, culture, programs, and services. We are committed to helping build strong, resilient Métis families by supporting and advocating for Métis children and families involved with the intervention system, as well as by providing resources and tools to support early learning and child development.

Education & Scholarships
Each year, Métis Nation of Alberta provides scholarships to reward outstanding academic achievement. Scholarships are open to Métis students pursuing post-secondary education.

Housing Programs
Our two key affiliates dealing with Métis housing initiatives are the Métis Urban Housing Corporation (MUHC) and the Métis Capital Housing Corporation.

Youth Programs & Services
Our Youth Programs and Services department is tasked with increasing engagement and interaction with Métis youth aged 12 -29 within each of the MNA’s six regions. Our team addresses the specific needs of Métis youth to provide a sense of belonging to their community and connection to their culture.

Métis peoples’ lived residential school experiences had and continue to have deep, intergenerational impacts on individuals, families, friends, and communities. Find supports to help heal and information on our upcoming initiatives.
