The new Cabinet, appointed by the President in accordance with the Otipemisiwak Métis Government Constitution, now includes 14 Provincial Secretaries, each with a defined portfolio. Notable changes include the creation of a two new dedicated portfolios and revisions to many existing portfolios.

While we are disappointed that our proposal was not selected, we are proud of the vision we put forward. For generations, Métis people have lived, worked, and built community in Peace River. The campground lands themselves hold historical significance for our Citizens, whose families helped found the community now known as Peace River Crossing.

The Chair of Citizens’ Council has formally received and accepted the resignation of Tai Amy Grauman, Provincial Women’s Representative and Provincial Secretary for the Advancement of Women and Girls. As of May 26, 2025 Ms. Grauman is no longer serving in her respective roles.
