Children & Youth

The Métis Nation of Alberta recognizes the importance of maintaining and enhancing connections with Métis families, communities and culture for Métis children and youth.  The MNA works towards ensuring the rights and dignity of Métis children and families involved with the child intervention systems are honoured, while advocating for and supporting the needs of Métis children and families. By doing so, we  are able to ensure cultural identity and connections are maintained. Current initiatives include:

  • Métis Children Services
  • Métis Resource
  • Provincial Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD)/Edmonton Fetal Alcohol Network (EFAN)
