Métis Cultural Experiences:
A young Nation born of their homeland: Understand how the Métis came to be. Immersed in the fur trade uncover the influences that led to the origin of the Métis Nation.
Indigenous Arts and Crafts: An introduction to the art and crafts of the Métis. Participate in Métis Art.
Bannock & Tea making: Around a fire cook bannock on a stick and taste teas foraged from the woods.
Nature walk: Self-guided Exploration of the boreal forest along the North Saskatchewan River Valley.
Painted Rock Mosaic: Choose a rockfrom the river bed, paint and add it to a mosaic on the river bank creating the Métis flag.
