AltaLink will be increasing the frequency of inspections along its transmission lines. As part of this initiative, AltaLink has committed to providing information regarding inspections that have the potential to impact Métis Harvesters conducting traditional land use activities. AltaLink hazard warnings will be posted to the MNA news archives and Facebook page as they are received by the MNA provincial office.

Current Hazard Warnings:

AltaLink transmission line – 1054L and 1206L/1212L (Heartland Transmission Project):
Potential hazard warning – spacer damper failure
AltaLink transmission line – 1043L (formerly 904L):
Potential hazard warning – spacer damper failure
