Navigating Métis Community Resources (NMCR)

NMCR works to create connections between Métis citizens and community resources to
foster culture, collaboration, and provide well-rounded supports to Métis families.
This referral based program works closely with Family Resource Networks (FRN’s) across the province to connect Métis families to services within their area.

What We Do:

Providing a main point of connection for Alberta service providers to refer Métis families to the Otipemisiwak Métis Government and affiliates programs and services.
Educate, inform, and work alongside Alberta service providers who work with Métis children, youth, and families through our Métis Cultural Awareness Training.
Connecting with community resource agencies to stay informed on programs and services that will best serve the needs of the Métis people within Alberta.
