Update your information using the Contact Information Portal.

Citizens must have an email address already on file to receive a confirmation code during the log in process. Please complete the Change Of Address Form. Have questions? Email registry@metis.org.

Contest Rules:

Update your contact details through our Contact Information Portal to refresh your Otipemisiwak Métis Government Citizenship Profile and enter to win one of eight $300 gas cards. Those who updated their details at the Citizens Gathering are automatically entered. The deadline for entries is September 18, 2024.

Only one entry per Citizen is allowed, and participants must be 18 or older at the time of the draw. The draw will occur on September 20, and winners will be notified.

How do I update my contact information?

Citizens can update their information using the Contact Information Portal.

Updates can still be made using the Change of Address form using the following methods.

  • Mail your completed Change of Address Form to:

  • Or, visit the head office to complete your Change of Address Form with a registry agent.

You may be contacted by a registry agent for more information.

Request a replacement card

  • To request a replacement card, please call the head office at 780-455-2200.
  • The cost of a replacement card is $40 (cash, debit or money order accepted. Please do not send cash in the mail).
  • Depending on your original application, there may be forms that need to be re-signed.
  • You can choose to take a new photo at this time.
  • It can take up to 6 weeks to receive a replacement card.
