Financial Support for Opioid Recovery
The Métis Nation of Alberta (MNA) is committed to supporting Citizens struggling with opioid dependence and may be able to offer financial supports for those in recovery.
The MNA’s Substance Use Recovery Wrap Around Support Program offers eligible Citizens financial support for up to nine months following their completion of a residential treatment program. This program is intended to help Citizens support themselves during the crucial period of adjustment when re-entering the community from a residential treatment program.
In order to qualify for this program, Citizens must be:
An MNA Citizen aged 18 or older.
Transitioning from an Alberta Health Services approved treatment centre.
In recovery from an opioid dependence disorder.
