Métis Crossing Signature Experience 2026 - Otipemisiwak Métis Government

Thank you to everyone who applied for the Otipemisiwak Métis Government Children and Family Services Métis Crossing Signature Experiences pilot program. Registration is now full and closed!

This monthly pilot program, running from March 2026 to February 2027, offers Métis families within Alberta the chance to attend a weekend trip to historic Métis Crossing, where hotel stay, dining, and two culturally-grounded Signature Experiences will be provided to selected families. Families will be able to rank their top dates based on their availability, as well as their preferred seasonal activities!

Who qualifies for the program?

Families that have at least one child between the ages of 0 and 11 that is a registered Citizen of the Otipemisiwak Métis Government.
Those currently residing in Alberta.
Those currently residing in the same household.
