Connecting Through Culture

The Otipemisiwak Métis Government’s Children and Family Services (CFS) Department is excited to welcome applications for the Connecting Through Culture Family Retreat – Fall 2025 at Métis Crossing.

Retreat Dates: November 21–23, 2025
Spots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Eligibility:

Must be residents of Alberta
At least one family member must be a citizen of the Otipemisiwak Métis Government
Must include at least one child aged 17 or younger
Families must be available for the duration of the retreat and be able to organize their transportation to and from Métis Crossing
Families must be available for the full duration of the retreat and are responsible for arranging their own transportation to Métis Crossing at the beginning of camp and home again at the end. Accommodations will be provided during the retreat.
