Tansi! Come join us at Veronica’s ribbon skirt workshop! A time to come together and learn about the meaning of the ribbon skirt, as well as learn how to sew one yourself.
This workshop is meant for those who don’t own a ribbon skirt or haven’t learned how to sew one yet. Those who already have, will still be considered if spots are available 🙂

“This workshop is meant for Metis youth who don’t own their own ribbon skirt or hasn’t learned how to make one yet. We have decided to work with ages 21 – 29 as there is an opportunity to encourage (through cultural teachings and stories) fruitful living and personal growth to these maturing youth. Mine and the facilitator’s hope is that the participating youth will grow an interest in sewing ribbon skirts and pursue it outside of MNA, as well as build their confidence wearing their own hand-made traditional/contemporary skirts.”
