Prairie Prowl

Join us for Prairie Prowl—A Métis Adventure at the Royal Tyrrell Museum and Badlands Trails, Drumheller on July 13, 2025; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Come explore the Badlands! Walk the Badlands Interpretive Trail, which was once used by Métis hunters and gatherers. Discover the Hoodoo and Horseshoe Canyon trails, both rich with stories of Métis life, wildlife, and cross-cultural history of the valley. Spend a day immersed in language, land, and discovery with the Otipemisiwak Métis Government’s Language Team.
