Mamawi Pimohtetan — “Walking Together”
Mamawi Pimohtetan — “Walking Together” in Cree — is a weekly men’s circle where Métis men learn about boundaries, coping strategies, and healthy relationships.
Guided by a Métis facilitator and grounded in the Métis River Teachings — Respect, Love, Kindness, Strength, Sharing, Balance, Caring, Courage, Honesty, Mother Earth, Patience, and Tolerance, the program empowers participants with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to heal, communicate with compassion, and build healthy, respectful relationships.
Through this journey, men strengthen their connection to culture, themselves, and community, as they learn about breaking cycles of family violence and walking forward with purpose.
Join us virtually, Mondays on Zoom from 7 – 9 p.m., February 2 – April 20, 2026
