Land-Based Healing Retreat: Preparing for New Life
Join us at Métis Crossing for an enriching experience centred around the profound journey of parenthood. Together, we will explore the many stages of welcoming a new life – from pregnancy and birth to infant feeding and postpartum care.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in informative workshops, share stories, and cultivate a supportive community. Guided through practical sessions and heartfelt discussions, everyone will leave with a deeper understanding of and a renewed spirit for the beautiful path of parenting.
While this gathering has been created with birthing preparation in mind, we warmly welcome all individuals who identify with the experiences of bringing an infant into the world.
To be eligible to participate in this workshop, you must:
- Be an Otipemisiwak Métis Government Citizen
- Be a resident of Alberta
- Be anticipating the arrival of a newborn or currently caring for a newborn
Spaces are limited.
