Foundational Knowledge in Traditional Métis Soap Making Kanatsowin: Being clean

Join us on Sunday, December 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for a virtual workshop connecting Métis homesteading traditions with modern creativity! Learn how to make your own soap, explore the history of soap-making, and celebrate our Métis spirit.
All participants will receive a pre-packaged box of supplies mailed to their address.
This event is open to participants of all ages; however, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Priority will be given to individuals who have not participated before.
New Registration Requirement:
- Participants must attend the online orientation to remain registered and receive their mailed kit.
- Those who miss the orientation will forfeit their spot, and it will be offered to someone on the waiting list.
Orientation (Required): Sunday, November 30, 2025 – 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.
Important:
- Attendance at the orientation is required to receive your mailed supply kit.
- If you miss the orientation, your spot will be released to the waiting list.
