Energy Education Series – Emergency Preparedness through Energy Resilience

During the 2024 Climate and Energy Engagement sessions, you told us that you’re concerned about power outages and emergency preparedness, and we’re here to help! Tune in to our second Energy Education webinar on March 5 (5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) to learn more about how you can get ready for an outage.

The Emergency Preparedness through Energy Resilience webinar will be presented by Kim Walton, a Métis expert in energy-efficient homes, and Yessica Dominguez, our Emergency Management Coordinator, who will each share technical knowledge and practical insights into emergency preparedness and energy reliance.

You’ll learn how to prepare yourself, your family, and your pets in the event of a power outage or emergency. Kim and Yessica will outline what to have on hand, how to plan ahead, and what steps you should take when the unexpected happens to help keep everyone safe and supported.

We will also explore ways to stay prepared for and powered during unexpected grid disruptions through home efficiency and energy independence.

This webinar will be hosted on Zoom.
