May 25

Join Métis cultural educator Natalie Pepin on a guided walk to explore traditionally harvested plants. You will gain a deeper understanding of the plants around us, their cultural significance, and what we can learn from them.

Each walk lasts three hours and includes a mix of standing and sitting. Extra water will be available.

Families are welcome to join the walk. As this is a longer, listening-focused event, we encourage families to consider whether it will be a good fit for them.

Register here once sign-up opens on April 25.

For a full list of locations and dates, please visit albertametis.com/plant-walks.

Please bring the following items:

  • Weather appropriate clothing and comfortable footwear.
  • Something to sit on.
  • A reusable water bottle or mug. Extra water will be available.
