Join us for the Otipemisiwak Métis Government’s Cancer Peer Support Retreat!
Have you been impacted by cancer? Whether you have been personally diagnosed or have supported someone who has, in the past or present, we invite you to Métis Crossing for a Cancer Peer Support Retreat designed to foster connection, healing, and support.
Please note this retreat is limited to 25 participants selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
March 14–16, 2025
Two nights of accommodation at Métis Crossing and mileage reimbursement will be provided at $0.35/km.
This retreat is a welcoming space to gather on the land, share experiences, and participate in meaningful cultural activities.
Highlights include:
- Cancer Sharing Circle facilitated by Wellspring Alberta’s Indigenous Cancer Sharing Circle Coordinator
- Traditional Métis entertainment
- Delicious meals and cultural activities
