From April to June, members of our Health Team will be holding consultations in each region throughout the province. Registration is required.

Our team is in Slave Lake at the Region 5 Office (353 Main Street N.) on June 1st from 10:00am to 5:00pm:

Cancer Supports Consultation Information
Are you a Métis cancer patient, survivor, or a family member of someone with cancer? Share your stories and experiences in a supportive, small group environment.
When members of our Health Team come to your region, your input will contribute to the development of a Métis-specific resource to be given to newly diagnosed cancer patients and to the Alberta Métis Cancer Strategy.
Participants must be:
• At least 18 years old, or in the company of a parent or guardian
• Métis cancer patients, survivors, or family members or partners of someone with cancer.
Food and an honorarium will be provided. Registration required. Participants may be eligible for mileage and accommodations.

Chronic Disease Supports Consultation Information
Are you Métis and living with chronic disease? Share your story with qualified professionals and other community members in small, supportive group settings.
When members of our Health Team come to your region, your input will help guide future Métis Nation of Alberta health programs and services.
Participants must
• Identify as Métis, and
• Be living with a chronic disease.
