It is with great sadness the Métis Nation of Alberta shares the news of Cynthia Bertolin’s passing. We would like to extend our sincere condolences to Cynthia’s family, friends, and community.
Cynthia’s father, Larry Desmeules served as Métis Nation of Alberta president 1988-1993; during that time, the Desmeules family developed great passion for Métis historical site, Métis Crossing.
In honour of Cynthia, the family is requesting donations be made to Métis Crossing in her name.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 7 at 2 pm at Foster and McGarvey (Downtown Chapel), 10011 114 Street.
The even will also be streamed live and a reception will follow.
