  1. Métis Rights: 2016 has been a game-changing year for Métis Rights advancements including the Daniels Case Victory, Ministerial Special Representative Report on Section 35 Métis Rights, and the MMF land claim victory. The future is ours to shape!

  2. Voting: By becoming a member, you are able to vote at MNA local and regional meetings, and the provincial Annual General Assembly (AGA). The AGA serves as the legislative function of the MNA by allowing members to vote on ordinary and special resolutions that direct the path of the Nation.

  3. Health, Children and Youth: The MNA provides valuable health and social services for Métis families. Métis Resource Workers based out of the MNA provincial office in Edmonton connect Métis Albertans with beneficial programs, support Métis children and families involved in the Child Intervention System, and provide support to individuals living with FASD. The MNA is also actively involved in conducting Métis-specifc health research such as the Public Health Surveillance Program (PHSP) that aims to establish health services tailored to the needs of Métis people in Alberta.
