Métis Nation of Alberta Governance Review - Online Feedback Form
Posted on: Jun 16, 2016
As a community member, you have the opportunity to participate directly in shaping the future governance structures and processes of the Métis Nation of Alberta.
Shalene Jobin and Kirsten Lindquist from the Faculty of Native Studies at the University of Alberta are currently reviewing the MNA governance structure: how we make decisions, and how we are able to negotiate with our partners and stand up for our Métis rights.
We received notification from interested participants unable to attend the scheduled focus group consultations to provide an alternative method of feedback. The online form presents the same questions explored in the six regional focus group sessions, which include topics such as consultation processes, program and service delivery, community engagement, and decision making. If you agree to participate, the online form may take 20 minutes to an hour depending on the length of your feedback.
This research project has been reviewed and approved by Research Ethics Board 1 at the University of Alberta. As part of the ethics practices, the next section includes the online feedback information letter and consent form.
