Our Nishtohtamihk li kaansyr (Understanding Cancer): Cancer Screening, Outcomes, and Experiences among Métis People in Alberta survey seeks to understand Métis Albertans’ lived experiences and the realities of cancer screening in Alberta. It also provides an opportunity to evaluate what helps and hinders cancer screening. The purpose of cancer screening is to catch the cancer in it’s earliest stages so it may be easily treated. Cancer screening can also help prevent some types of cancers. The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete and is voluntary, you can choose to end it at any time.
