A Meal Kit Partnership with Goodfood – Registration Closed!
Healthy food, less stress, and no cost to families.
Thank you to everyone who applied for Nourishing Families! This partnership project with Goodfood, Canada’s largest meal kit company, was designed to support families by making healthy meals more accessible and helping Métis children build positive nutrition habits to support learning, overall wellness, and cultural connection.
This project will deliver two (2) fresh, nutritious and pre-portioned meals right to your doorstep. Alongside the meals, you’ll be provided an activity book which offers nutrition information and practical skills for all members of the family.
The eligibility criteria for this program is as follows:
- Parents and caregivers on behalf of at least one child who is an Otipemisiwak Métis Government Citizen and who is enrolled in Pre-K to Grade 12.
- Children must be between the ages of 4–18.
- Youth over 16 can apply on their own if they live independently, are enrolled in High School, and must be Otipemisiwak Métis Government Citizens.
- Applicants must reside in Alberta.
