Online and In-Person Sessions
The Niwicitonan Playgroup is a welcoming space for caregivers with Métis young children (ages 0–5) to connect, learn, and grow together. Exploring Métis culture with community, our playgroups offer meaningful opportunities for caregivers and children to build relationships, explore identity, and engage in early learning through play.
Each session is designed to support your child’s development while strengthening connections to Métis culture, language, and traditions. Families can expect a warm, inclusive environment where children can explore through hands-on play, stories, music, and cultural teachings.
Our in-person playgroups include a shared breakfast, giving families time to gather, visit, and start the day together in community.
Our online playgroups feature special Métis cultural themes, bringing engaging and interactive experiences directly into your home.
Whether you join us in person or online, Niwicitonan “We Help Each Other” Playgroups are a place to celebrate who we are, connect with others, and support your child’s early years in a meaningful way.
