January 30, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
*Update: This event has been postponed. We will announce the new date by the first week of February.
Emergency preparedness can be overwhelming, and that’s where we can help. On January 30 at 6 p.m. MST, join us virtually for our Environment & Climate Change Speaker Spotlight: Emergency Preparedness with Total Prepare to get answers to all your questions, no matter how simple or complex.
In this presentation, we’ll go over the steps of emergency preparedness: knowing the risks, making a plan, and what you need for a 72-hour emergency kit. We’ll also cover what the major risks are in Alberta and the plans you can make specifically for those risks. Also hear about the Métis Nation of Alberta (MNA)’s plan to help Citizens get prepared by providing them with emergency kits.
Those who attend the Speaker Spotlight will receive a chance to win a 72-hour Emergency Preparedness Kit from Total Prepare! *Must be an MNA Citizen aged 18+ to qualify.
