Join us for a welcoming and engaging morning designed for Métis caregivers and their young children (ages 0–5). Niwicitonan Playgroups are a space to connect with other families, celebrate Métis identity, and support your child’s early development through culture, play, and learning.
Children and caregivers will enjoy hands-on activities, stories, music, and cultural teachings in a warm, inclusive environment. A shared breakfast is provided, giving families time to gather, connect, and start the day together in community.
Eligible Families
• Children aged 0–5
• Either the child or caregiver is an Otipemisiwak Métis Government Citizen
• Families living within 100 km of Medicine Hat
