Li Tabaa (Tobacco): Traditional Tobacco Planting
Join us at Métis Crossing from June 5–7, for a meaningful gathering rooted in Métis culture and connection to the land.
While this gathering is designed with youth aged 12–29 in mind, we warmly welcome each youth to bring up to two guests.
Please note that youth aged 12–17 must be accompanied by and registered through a parent, caregiver, or support person(s) aged 18+.
Métis youth and their families are invited to learn about the sacred role of traditional tobacco, its teachings, responsibilities, and differences from commercial tobacco.
Interested in attending? Email tobaccoreduction@metis.org today to reserve your spot and receive registration details!
Spots are limited. Register by May 20.
