This is a skills-based program that helps promote healthy ways of coping with stress, regulating emotions, being mindful, and living in the moment, as well as improving our relationships with others.
This eight-week circle provides skills to help us cope with and/or change unhealthy behaviours. Participants can expect to learn four primary skills: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotional regulation, and distress tolerance.

Kim Sinkovics been working in the family support field for 15 years, and the last four years providing school-based mental health services. She is excited to be working as a facilitator for the Métis Nation of Alberta. She is a Métis mother of four, and passionate about working with children, adolescents, and families. She has a genuine concern and empathy for the well-being of people and an understanding of their struggles.
