Citizens’ Gathering
Join us as we celebrate 98 years of gathering and mark another year of our Nation’s dedication to continued growth and unity.
Our theme for this year, ê pimohteyahk miyo pimohtewin – We Walk Forward in a Good Way, comes from the tradition of lobsticks and acknowledging how far we have come on the journey of self-governance.
We invite you to join us at this year’s Citizens’ Gathering, August 20 at the Big Fish Bay RV Resort and August 21 & 22, at the Multi-Rec Centre in Slave Lake at 305 6 Ave SW.
Over the three days, you’ll be able to learn more about your government, ask questions, support Métis artists, connect with community, and so much more!

How can I vote?
Register at our Registration desk August 21 and 22 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Registration is required to vote each day. Please note that only Otipemisiwak Métis Government Citizens can register and vote.
