Cancer Forum 2026
Cancer is more than a medical journey – it’s about fostering connection, building community, and reclaiming your voice. The Otipemisiwak Métis Government Health Department invites Métis Albertans to the upcoming Cancer Forum 2026 on Saturday, October 24, at the River Cree Resort & Casino in Enoch, Edmonton.Spend the day gathering with fellow Métis Albertans and cancer system partners to learn through keynote presentations and community panel discussions, explore cancer-related resources, and shape cancer-specific priorities the Health Department could focus on in the years ahead.

The Cancer Forum will also feature prostate cancer screening and wellness activities.
Meals and refreshments will be provided throughout the day. Gas gift cards and accommodations are available for participants travelling more than 100 km.
