Region 5: Fiddling Lessons

August 13 – Slave Lake

The fiddle is an iconic aspect of Métis culture, combining influences from our Indigenous, Scottish, and French heritage. Join us in Region 5 and learn the basics of fiddle playing with Dennis McCloud. Help celebrate and preserve Métis culture by keeping this traditional music alive.

MNA Region 5 Office (353 Main St. N.), 1pm-4pm.

Space is limited. Everyone is welcome but priority will be given to MNA citizens between the ages of 12 to 29. Refreshments and fiddles provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own.
