Where you from?

My name is Tutchone Dunfield and I am Cree/Métis living in Grande Prairie, AB.

What region do you represent? Any family ties you’d like to mention?

I represent Region 6 with family ties to the Indigenous community of Kelly Lake, BC.

What are your interests?

I am currently pursuing my degree in Environmental Science. I love the outdoors and am very passionate about the environment. I also enjoy painting and beading in my spare time.

Why are you involved with the MNA?

I am involved with the MNA because I believe that Métis youth have such a strong voice and that voice needs to be heard. As the next generation, we need to have an active role in decision making for a better future. I love that I am able to have an opportunity to sit on the Youth Council for the MNA.
