Where are you from?

Lac La Biche.

What region do you represent? Any family ties you’d like to mention?

Region 1 and my kookum is our Region One elder representative.

What are your interests?

I love to spend time with my dad. I have a passion for the outdoors, like hunting and fishing, and learning about my family history. I also make sure my kookum is taken care of. I also enjoy hanging out with my dog. 

Why are you involved with the MNA?

It gives me a sense of identity as a strong independent Métis woman. Involving myself brings me closer to the Métis community and it’s a great opportunity to make many friends, especially when we meet at an event like the AGA or the Youth and Seniors Gathering.
