Affordable Dentures Program
We are excited announce the availability of affordable denture services through our collaboration with the University of Alberta School of Dentistry!
Dental services, such as dentures, can be expensive and inaccessible for many. Through this collaboration, we are now able to help with affordable denture services to our community. This project is the result of years of fighting for Métis rights and aims to assist citizens who need work on their existing dentures or need their first set.
The university’s dental clinic will accept and direct bill most insurance plans, as the cost for a new set of dentures is $890 (this covers the exam and any x-rays needed).
Please note: you need to have no teeth for 9 to 12 months prior to getting dentures. The MNA does not recommend having dental procedures, such as having your remaining teeth pulled, to qualify for this program.
