Métis Week

Métis Week is an opportunity for the Métis in Alberta to share their stories, history, and culture with the rest of the world.

We welcome everyone to join us throughout the week to help us commemorate and celebrate the life of Louis Riel, our history, and our contributions to Canada.

Donations are needed! Do you have a spare blanket for someone in need?

The Métis Nation of Alberta loves helping its community. This year, we will be collecting new or gently used and freshly laundered blankets and sleeping bags.

Blankets can be dropped off at head office throughout the week, or you can bring your donations to the Métis Week Gala on Saturday at the Edmonton Inn. Donations will go to local charities and shelters.

The Métis Week Gala starts at 5:30 p.m.
